Jeanette Olorunniwo and Dhristi Agarwal, from our Women’s Health Team, co-authored an article in PEAH (Policies for Equitable Access to Health) by Daniele Dionisio highlighting how closing the gender gap in women’s health is essential to strengthening labour force participation and economic growth. The piece argues that underinvestment in women’s health limits productivity, deepens inequality, and carries significant macroeconomic costs. It calls on G20 governments to treat women’s health as both a public health and economic priority.
